Wheat starch production line

1. Crude protein separation
Wheat flour is first measured, and then the flour and water are simultaneously fed into a dough mixer for thorough mixing. After mixing evenly, it is pumped into a homogenizer for homogenization, separating wheat starch from protein. Then it enters a centrifuge for separation, and the separated heavy phase is A starch slurry, which enters the A starch refining section. The separated light phase is a mixture of gluten powder and B starch slurry.
2. Refined A starch
Pump the heavy phase A starch slurry from the separator into the sand removal cyclone to remove fine sand. The slurry after sand removal enters the fiber sieve to screen out wheat fibers (i.e. bran core and crushed bran). Further washing is carried out through a multi-stage cyclone, and the bottom flow of the final cyclone is refined A starch milk. The overflow of the first stage cyclone enters the recycling station to recover starch.
3. Dehydration and drying of A starch
The refined A starch milk is vacuum filtered to obtain wet starch with a water content of 40% -45%. It is then dried by hot air flow, and the resulting dry starch is crushed, sieved, measured, and packaged to obtain the finished A starch.
4. Maturity and screening of gluten powder
The light phase separated in the protein coarse separation section, which is a mixture of B starch and gluten powder, is first matured to form gluten, and then condensed in a condenser to form gluten clusters. This slurry is sieved to obtain wet gluten clusters and B starch slurry.
5. Protein dehydration and drying
The screened gluten balls from the previous section are fed into an extrusion dehydrator for dehydration. The dehydrated dough is then granulated and sent to an air circulation dryer. Crushed and dried in a dryer, the dry gluten powder separated by a pulse dust collector is then crushed and sieved. The sieved material is measured and packaged to obtain the finished gluten powder.
6. Starch recycling A
In the wheat gluten maturation and screening section, the screened material B starch slurry contains some A starch, which is then separated using a centrifuge. The separated A starch is returned to the sand removal cyclone in the A starch refining section. The other part of the slurry enters the next section to concentrate B starch.
7. B starch concentration
The slurry obtained from the previous section is then concentrated using a centrifuge. Due to its low dry matter content, a secondary concentration is adopted to obtain B starch slurry. B starch slurry can enter the drying section for drying to obtain B starch. B starch slurry can also be sold directly as a feed raw material, and can also be used directly as modified starch and starch sugar.
8. Drying of B starch
B starch is dried using airflow drying. The drying of B starch consumes a lot of power and is not economical. Currently, many production plants do not dry B starch, but directly use B starch slurry to make alcohol or starch sugar.
